With the holidays approaching, it’s the perfect time to celebrate multiculturalism and explore the different types of religious and cultural celebrations from around the world, using our new assembly resource. This resource is for teachers to use in assembly and classroom scenarios with students aged 9 to 14. There are a number of extension activities where the themes within the films can be explored further. Developed by Into Film with National Schools Partnership, the Malala Youth Voice programme uses the inspirational story of Malala to enable young people across the UK to develop their own confidence, public speaking and campaigning skills, inspiring them to become active citizens who speak up on the issues that matter the most to them. Aimed at Key Stage 3-5 (or equivalent), this cross-curricular programme will help bring citizenship, PSHE, English and media studies learning to life for students aged 13-19 in a unique way that will excite and engage.
